Yes. We are very proud of our high quality installations and like nothing more than sharing them. But we find that lots of our customers do the sharing for us!

Many of our customers share their honest feedback on the CheckaTrade website, where every review is independently verified. We receive a lot of personal referrals too, so if you have heard about our work through a neighbour or friend, do ask to view it and get them to give you the low down on our team and how we operate.

You’ll find examples of some recent installation work posted on our social media channels.

Your installation journey with Mr Misty Ipswich Windows, Doors and Roofline Installers Suffolk :

The first step is to get in touch. You can do this by telephoning, emailing or using our online form within this website. We’ll reply in a timely fashion to answer any questions and arrange a visit to your property by one of our team if you wish, at a time that is convenient to you.

Our site visit allows us to take all the outline measurements we need as well as listen to your requirements and share information. We will leave you with all the information you need to make your mind up in your own time and  - once you have received our no obligation proposal - to compare our offer with quotes from other companies you may have contacted.

When you are ready to place your order, we draw up a contract and deposit request. We arrange a visit from our surveyor with you to get the exact measurements once paperwork is completed and the deposit paid.

Our surveyor’s report covers all the details needed for the correct manufacture of your new installation. It will also highlight whether any permissions (planning / conservation area related  etc) are required and we will liaise with you as appropriate to move things forward.

Your windows / doors are manufactured to order by our highly respected and skilled fabrication partners. We liaise with you regarding an installation date, carry out the install and talk you through any suggested aftercare. We will later return to carry out any snagging if required, always at an agreed time which is convenient to you.

The duration of our site visit will depend upon the extent of the work you are asking us to quote for and how far your thinking has progressed in terms of what you are looking for.

Our aim is to leave you with all the information you need to make up your own mind in your own time – and for us to leave with the info we need to supply the fully costed, detailed quote you are looking for.

During the visit, we will:
•    listen to your wishes and priorities
•    share ideas, information, technical details and samples
•    talk you through the installation process
•    answer your questions
•    take all the outline measurements we need

Our fully costed, no obligation quotes are valid for 28 days -  but if you want to deliberate for longer, please give us a call.

Many factors out of our control have affected our supply chain and product costs over recent months. These are often unpredictable, but we never wish to put our customers under any pressure regarding their decision-making.  If you need more time to come to a decision, it is always best to check back with us so we can put you in the picture.

Yes. A 25% deposit is payable when you sign the contract with us for your installation.

Our lead time varies, but is usually between 4-8 weeks

Lead times may depend on a number of factors, but we will always be honest with you, keep you updated and give our best estimate at lead times.

This will depend on a number of factors – size, nature, location, time of year of the job. Each job is differnet and some installations may be weather dependent.

As a rough guide:

  • Installing new windows throughout a semi-detached residential property - 1-2 days

Our teams of fitters are highly experienced professionals who work efficiently to the highest standards and are mindful of creating the minimum of inconvenience to your household or business.

We will agree a specific date and time for your installation with you so you can make any preparations/ clear the area in advance of our arrival. We make every effort to protect the area in which we are working and keep inconvenience to a minimum. We are often complimented on the tidiness of our work – we will leave your property in a clean, tidy and secure state even if the installation is spread over more than a day.

We share our terms and conditions and cancellation policy details with you in advance of signing a contract with us and you will have a copy for your own records to refer to.

The mechanisms on bi-folding doors are relatively complicated pieces of engineering. Bi-fold doors should never be forced and it is strongly advised that any alignment issues be rectified sooner rather than later.

As a rule of thumb, a bit of understanding around how bifold doors operate plus a little TLC and regular maintenance will ensure that the system continues to run smoothly over the years to come.

A: Yes. We have chosen a quality top-branded PVCu supplier for all our rainwater system products which offers a colour match promise across its range of building plastics.

All the clips, pipes, end stops etc will be colour-matched as standard and if you choose to replace soffits, fascia or bargeboards at the same time, they can be colour-matched too.

Evidence has shown that some chemical cleaning products for sanitising door handles may affect the spray paint finish on the fibre glass material used for composite doors. We strongly advise taking extra care not to splash or drip any type of cleaning fluid onto painted areas.

We would advocate the use of only warm, mild soapy water on composite doors.

Yes. One of the major selling points of PVCu is that it comes in clean and consistent colours.

Even though PVCu fascia and soffits may come in set lengths which may require several joints and fixtures, the consistency in manufacture means that even long runs with several joins can still appear effortlessly smart and look great for years.

Our fitters will share advice at the time of installation, or do give us a call if you have any specific questions going forward.
