Yes, for the safety of your pet we would advise cat flap installation only in laminated safety glass.
Please note that existing toughened safety glass cannot be cut once it is installed. In such cases, the pane can be replaced with a new pane of toughened glass which has been pre-cut to accommodated the pet flap.

The pet wears the collar which includes the tech to speak to the petflap unit and unlock the way in/ out. In this way only your pet will be able to gain access in/out of your property. The collar allows you to monitor pet activity and gives both pet and owner real peace of mind.

A: We advise fitting a top quality cat flap or pet flap. The come in all shapes and sizes to suit your furry friend, but they include draft-proofing joins and ‘hair’ strips.
This obstructs air flow, however, the plastic units are unfortunately not completely draft proof. Perhaps a little draftiness is a small price to play for the new-found freedom your pet will enjoy from the pet flap installation – not to mention your peace of mind that they can come in safely when they wish.

A. Cat-flaps can be fitted into windows as well as doors. If you live in an apartment, it may be more convenient for your pet to use a cat-flap in a window. We do however advise that pet flap installation should be in windows with laminated safety glass only.
A. There are many types of pet flaps available on the market and some people prefer to have a ‘collar-key’ system to prevent other cats gaining entry into your home which could cause distress to your pet.
